After the parade Yesterday, we drove to our friend’s where we spent the night. Since today was Hari Nyepi, which means that from 6am today until 6am tomorrow there is no light, no music, no going out, no cooking and no noise allowed, we stayed the whole day and night at our friends, sleeping in the gazebo on his rooftop.

It was very nice not to hear any noise, only birds and chickens. No motorbikes, no cars, no loud music. They had even switched off the mobile internet for 24 hours, so no playing was possible.

In the night, we had a wonderful starry sky since there was no light pollution. We could see many, many more stars than we had ever seen before.
