Since we had slept very well in our hotel, we woke up very energetic and couldn’t wait to explore more parts of the city. Luckily we also had very nice weather and the sky scrapers looked amazing with the blue sky in the background.
We visited a part of the city where the contrasts between vintage and modern are very impressive. While strolling through a small street with little houses, shops and restaurants, the whole scenery was towered by the modern glass and metal skyscrapers.
Especially the mosque looked amazingly beautiful with the blue sky and a few fluffy white clouds.
We really enjoyed exploring this part of the city with all it’s colours.
Every house had a different color and it all looked very friendly and nice.
Last but not least, I could also practice one of my “hobbies” which I had really missed in Bali: Scaring pigeons! Although it seemed that this “sport” isn’t practiced here as all the people who saw me scaring the pigeons looked at me as if I was a lunatic. 😆
