When we passed the harbour this morning, the fishermen were about to come back from their journeys and bringing in their catch.
There were a lot of boats coming to the harbour where their families already expected them. They helped each other to haul the boats on the high harbour platform.
We decided to have a nice walk on the shore and look what I found after a few meters: It looks like Robinson Crusoe’s hut. 😆
It was very nice, walking along the shoreline. Above all because we were pretty much alone and only met a few very friendly locals.
Later on, we stopped at a Warung where I caught the opportunity to play some video games with a few nice guys I met there.
And then came the moment I had expected for so long: Mom had promised me that she would teach me how to drive a motorbike. So we went on a road on the property of our friend and tried. And I was doing very well.
Look at how good I’m at driving! It was my first try! 😯
(***Note by Mom: As already mentioned, Yves was allowed to drive only on the private property of a friend! This was no public road! There was no traffic and everything was under our control all the time. ***)
On the way back, I could convince my parents to stop at the Warung again and so I could play some more with the guys from the morning.
When we drove back to the coast, it was already late afternoon and the view was amazing! Luckily Mount Agung also had calmed down and lay peaceful among the clouds.
