After our visit to the temple and the lake with the shrine, we continued to another very beautiful spot: The Taman Beji Griya Waterfall.

When we arrived, we had to walk past shrines and statues which were very colorful.

We could see the holy waterfall from above. It was very impressive!

Then, we continued to the sacred canyon and cave

In front of the cave entrance, there were many animals and also faces carved into and carved from the stone. They looked quite impressive.

The canyon was located in the middle of the jungle. So the vegetation was very lush and dense.

We had to squeeze ourselves through the opening between the rocks and right behind it, we had to continue by crossing through a first waterfall.

The atmosphere inside the cave was very amazing. You could see the jungle far above your head and the water was crashing down.

The Balinese had brought offerings because they did the cleaning ceremony in here. This time, we didn’t participate but of course we wore traditional clothing for entering the spot.

Since we had to exit through the waterfall again, we were all quite soaking wet.

I really enjoyed that trip! Of course we had brought clothes to change and so we could have lunch and go home dry and comfy.
