After a good night’s sleep, I could hardly wait to enjoy my preferred breakfast: Mutton Curry! It was delicious!! 😛
Full of energy, we decided to visit a very nice city park and have a nice walk there.
They had some pretty cool stuff there and a few people were exercising Thai Chi in the shadows. I especially liked the fitness equipment the city put in this park. You don’t need a gym if you have such a cool park! I wish we had this at home, too!
The park was still very quiet at this hour and we were the only tourists visiting it.
Our next stop was a Burmese Buddhist Temple which was situated quite close to the park.
When we entered, we were almost blown away by the beauty of the main hall. Look at how amazing this is!
Upstairs, we could admire Buddha’s footprint. I wonder what size of shoes he wore. 😆
Before leaving, we also lighted some incense sticks and made a donation to the temple.
During our stroll through the city, dad also spotted this elevator and insisted in having a ride in it. Mom waited on the ground floor as she is afraid of heights and knew that this ride would mean disaster to her. After we had arrived at the 4th floor, I completely understood what she meant and had wished I had waited with her. 🙁
On our way back to the airport, I could not resist “reviving” an “old tradition of mine”: Public phone booths! 😆 😆
Since our aircraft wasn’t departing from the main terminal, we had to take the shuttle bus to get to our gate. Luckily, it’s just a short ride and there are shuttle buses departing every few minutes.
Around 9 pm, we could finally board our aircraft which brought us back home to Bali!
We also made a short movie about our impressions of today: Have fun with “Singapore in 180 Seconds”
