
I’m dressed in traditional clothes
This morning, we put on traditional clothes, again, and headed to our friend’s house for the purification ceremony. We could hardly wait to attend the long awaited event. All the family and many friends had come to participate.

While the priest was conducting the ceremony, the roof was crowded and who couldn’t participate upstairs relaxed downstairs.

Of course this was also a great opportunity to meet friends since we have quite a few friends with Gusti’s family in common.

Look at that delicious roast piglet
For the ceremony, there weren’t only luscious offerings but also lots of delicacies like this roasted piglet, called Babi Guling.
