We love to travel off the beaten path
Today, we did a combination of walking an driving and therefore, it was more interesting for me, too. We only took dirt roads off the beaten path..
What are those strange things…?
Along the road, we came across these strange things dangling from high trees. We had no idea what they were and if they had a purpose. Sadly, an old man who we met also couldn’t tell us more about them… 🙁
Look at that cute and curious baby cow
A little bit further down the road, there were cows and a few calves resting in the shadows of some high cliffs. One of the calves was very curious and super cute when she came to inspect us. 🙂
I’m having fun exploring
Later, we parked our bikes and started a nice walk and this time, I quite enjoyed it.
I discovered bird nests in a well
Since I’m always curious, I wanted to check an empty well we found along our path and I almost got a heart attack when birds bolted out of it. So mom and I checked a bit more and look what we found: The birds had used the empty well as a nesting ground. Can you spot the tiny eggs? It’s easier if you point your cursor over the photo above. 😉
