Wow, another one of the statues is finished
Today, we decided to spend a visit to our good friend, the Guru Ida Arsi. It was very nice to see his spiritual oasis again. Since our last visit he had finished many more statues and the place looked amazing!

The big statues were very impressive and Ida Arsi explained that he had finished them all by himself. His workers had already left before because money was quite short…
The big sleeping Buddha
Look at the sleeping Buddha. Doesn’t he look relaxing? Our friend had painted it golden.
Look at the beautiful snake
There were also many snake statues which were painted golden and had glass crystals on their heads.
Saraswati’s statue looks great, too!
I really liked the statue of Saraswati! Sadly, the weather changed quite fast and so we couldn’t spent much time with our friend. But it was great to meet him and his family again!
