Look at this! Banana-mania!
When I checked on our plant this morning, I was about to go completely “bananas”! Look at all the fruit that’s growing there! It’s becoming more and more every day! 😯
And it seems that the flower is still hiding more tiny bananas under it’s remaining petals! In a few weeks, we’ll be drowning in bananas! 😆 😆
The bees love our banana plant, too!
Besides the growing fruits, the banana plant has also another big advantage: Food for the bees! They come and eat from the flowers and it seems that the banana drops some sort of sugary liquid during the night and in the morning because there are puddles of it on our water-tank and the bees go crazy for them.
Look at them, buzzing and eating
In a world, where month after month thousands if not millions of insects – especially bees – are being poisoned and die, it’s a wonderful sight to see them flocking in our garden. 😀
