Our houseowner came to bring us a super cool present today! He and his workers had built a barbecue grill out of a dustbin. That thing is absolutely outstanding! It’s made by putting a clay pot inside a metal dustbin and fixing it with cement. There are two covers: The dustbin’s cover when it isn’t being used and a clay cover when we use it for grilling.
We lit up a few coconut shells for testing and the result was remarkable! Even with a few coconut shells, the clay pot would get so hot and conserve the head that we could have grilled a chicken.
I guess we’ll inaugurate that thing with our next barbecue. 😆
