After Elfriede went to her house this morning, we already knew what would happen: whenever she enters the house during the day, there’s either an imminent danger (like water hoses, brooms or one of the Alus visiting our garden) or she’s planning to lay another egg.
So, when mom checked on her when she saw her standing in her house, look what she was presented with: Elfriede’s newly laid egg.
It almost looked as if Elfriede was proud to show it to us.
Of course, she received a nice, big and fresh bok choy leaf after this. 😉
