When I was doing online school today, it had been very suspiciously silent in our garden for quite a while. Since that usually means that our hens were doing stuff that they shouldn’t be doing, I decided to check on them by peeping through the window.
(*** Note by mom: Yes, hens are a bit like small children. When they’re too silent, they are usually doing cobblers. 😉 ***)
It was so cute! Elfriede had fallen asleep and Gertrud was sleeping too, but when mom took a picture of her, she had already noticed us and raised her head. 😉
