The sculpture is moving slowly
While I was at school today, mom and dad visited the Art Bali exhibition at the AB BC Building in Nusa Dua.
When I came home, they showed me the pictures they took and I was very impressed. Can you imagine that the sculpture above is moving slowly around itself?
Many exhibits were paintings, like those two which are covered in verses from the holy Koran. Very impressive! 😯

This installation is very impressive as the room is illuminated by the candles only
Mom liked this one: the installation was in a very dark room which was illuminated only by the candlelight of the candles standing in front of the image.
The exhibition is called Art Bali because all artists who have exhibited their works, are either living in Bali or lived in Bali in the past or are originally from Bali.

Wow! That rattan sculpture is impressive
I liked this rattan sculpture. Doesn’t it remind you of a superhero, too?

These aren’t photo prints but charcoal paintings on wood
Mom and dad were also highly impressed by this artwork that reminds of the Indonesian Genocide. The clothing pieces aren’t photoprints! They are charcoal paintings made on wood! Absolutely impressive work!

I like this one very much! very much!
That last one was also a very interesting and amazing artwork. Probably you can’t see it very well but the colored cloud is made from thousands of small colored pencil strokes. It really looks like the buzzing in one’s head nowadays, caused by the overflow of impressions surrounding us.
We also made a small film for you. Check it out:
Too bad that I couldn’t see the exhibition myself but I will sure go there with mom and dad in the future!
