The panorama is amazing today!
At 6am this morning, Nyepi was over and after a nice breakfast at our friend Komang’s Warung, we decided to go for a short walk. Who knows for how long this would still be possible…

I like walking on the beach
We hiked the short walk down to the beach and back up again and it was very nice to be all alone.
Ouch! That guy is very dangerous! The white-lipped pit viper
When we came home, we made a not so nice discovery right in front of our gate: one of our neighbors had killed a snake in the night of Nyepi. It was a white-lipped pit viper, which you can recognize by it’s red tail. It seems that many people who were bitten by that guy were lucky enough to survive it but we still wouldn’t want to meet that guy in the night… 🙁
